Social Matchbox DC is an open event that will bring together DC startup community members to discuss jobs, ideas and collaborative opportunities. Participation is free. Registration is required. This event is not open to staffing agency representatives.

Startup Companies:
If you
are a DC area startup and are looking for staff or if you have a
startup idea and need partners, this is a must-attend event. You will
have the opportunity to deliver a 2-3 minute presentation about who you
are, what you are looking for, and why you are the place to be (no
demos).
Bring a paper flyer with a photo to post so that job seekers can easily spot you. If you have marketing chum feel free to bring that too. We'll supply posting materials and name tags.

If you want to work for or with area startup community leaders, Social Matchbox DC is your opportunity to get in the door. You will meet and hear from team members and executives from existing startups working the cutting edge of fields including: energy, health insurance, housing, music, philanthropy, search, social networking, video, web 2.0 and widgets. Many of these companies have openings in business development, design, human resources, management, marketing, public relations, quality assurance, sales, and web development.
Please Note: While many of the startups are filling positions that will pay a market salary, others will hire based on equity compensation.

7-7:30 startups get 2-3 minutes to talk about who they are and what they are looking for (no demo)
